Ve.Do is an app developed by the Italian State Printing Works and Mint (Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato) to check the receipt issued upon completion of the Electronic Identity Card application.
The application optically scans the QR code on the CIE receipt and verifies its authenticity by displaying it on the smartphone together with the owner’s data. Also, the application allows the owner to check the status of processing of the Electronic Identity Card.
ATTENTION
The verification of the authenticity of the receipt and the processing status of the CIE by scanning the QR code is possible only through the Ve.Do app.
The app is available for Android and iOS devices.
