Upon verification of production processes, some Electronic Identity Cards present a chip flaw: the chip contains an issue date different from the correct date reported on the front of the document.
In this section, citizens – by entering their tax code and the serial number of their Electronic Identity Card – can check immediately whether or not the card presents a flaw in the chip.
